Weld Stone Crusher Wheels

Hey Guys and Gals,

I was just curious. I have a set of Weld Stone Crusher Wheels for my truck with 285-75-16 tires on them. I have been having a problem since day one that I have owned them keeping them polished. I was just wondering if anyone else has these wheels and if anyone else is having a problem with them. I contacted Weld and they are just giving me a run around. I have tried everything under the sun to polish them and have actually paid a detail shop $250 to polish and buff them. Never the less in less than a month they were right back to being dull and looking like crap. If anyone else has any sugestions or coments I would luv to hear them. Thanks, Joe

Just to let everyone know. Just got off the phone with Weld. They are replacing my wheels at no charge. Just have to send them back to where I purchased them and they will waranty them. Joe

As soon as you get your new wheels....get a product called ZOOP. It can be found at Jegs or Summit. Its a clear finish that hold the shine.

If you don't mind me asking, under what basis are they replacing your wheels, i.e., are they admitting to manfacturing and selling a substandard wheel? I have the same wheels (now 2 years old) and really did not get anywhere when I called Weld.

honestly I dont know. I just kept explaining to them that I was very unhappy with my wheels. I think it was mission imposable to keep them polished without buffing them or something like that all the time. Which to me should not have to be done. I emailed them a few times explaining this and finally they gave in.
