2001 owners with keyless entry...help!

Bought a used 2001 Silverado K2500 which has RPO AU0, for keyless entry, but did not get a key fob. Ebay has these, but there are evidentally several numbers. I would appreciate it if someone would give me the numbers from the back of their 2001 key fob.

Just a question, can't you have the dealer where you bought the truck synch any GM truck fob w/ the code for it?

Sounds like there's as many codes out there as there are keys I guess that makes sense, but I didn't realize that.

My 01's code is 15042968...that's what you are going with so I am guess that's right. My dad's 00 is 15732803

Hey!!

 

Be sure to get the correct one - not all work. It seems like the 2002 and 2001 half tons have different numbers, and the 2001 1/2 ton and the 2001 HDs are different. You could call the dealership and find out - but ebay is the way to go. We bought one off ebay for my brothers 2001 model and it was the wrong one, so be sure it is right!!!
