...Are you supposed to get the sun visor stickers off I've successfully shredded them off, but I still have glue residue that refuses to come off. I did use a hairdryer, but do I need to use a brush or solvent to get the glue off? This is preposterous

 

This is on an '04, the 01's stickers weren't welded on

I didn't even try to remove mine, but just stuck signs over each one using double sided tape. I printed up a notice for the passenger side visor that says:

 

SMOKING NOTICE !

 

Smoking High-Tar, Non-Filtered, Enhanced Nicotine, Artificially Flavored Cigarettes In This Vehicle Is MANDATORY !

 

You MUST Chain-Smoke Cigarettes The Entire Time You Are Riding In This Vehicle, Or The Driver Will Speed Up To 90 MPH And Kick You Out The Door.

Don't know if it will work for you, but I have gotten glue out of clothes, carpet, and seats by using an old sheet, and an iron.

 

Just take an old sheet, or pillowcase, and lay it over the area. Then use the iron on it. When it liquifies, it soaks right into the cloth. It takes quite a while, and many, many passes. But it's not hard work. Be careful about burning.

 

By the way...This also takes candle wax out of stuff like carpet too.

 

Like I said, I don't know if it will work....Because I don't know what the glue is made of, and I've never tried it. Figured I would throw it out there anyway.

 

 

 

Oh...It would probably be easier with them off, that way you can grab a beer, and throw that visor on the workbench and work on it like a man. Instead of contorting inside the truck while whining about your fingernails.
