Gauge Cluster Upgrade

I have just upgrades my gauge cluster on my Sierra 1500 SLE to a Denali cluster. The trans oil temp worked as expected as did everything else, except the trip odometer.

 

Previously I had the normal total miles odometer, a trip meter and hour meter. Now I have total mile odometer, business miles, personal miles and hour meter. Unfortunately the business and personal miles do not register.

 

Has anyone else had this problem?

 

I do not have the DIC steering wheel controls.

You may have a problem. I have an 04 1500 CC with the steering wheel mounted controls and I had the same problem with the personal and business trip odometers. They just read 0 until I enabled them through the DIC using the steering wheel mounted controls. After they were enabled, they work as you would normally expect.
