There is a black H2 running around town here that's been lowered and a set of huge low profile tires has been mounted. I think I know where the guy works, I will have to see if I can get a picture one of it one day. LOL

Lowering a Hummer, or any 4X4 for that matter, sounds like a fun and worthwhile project! I think I'll try that after I get through welding the steel roof to my convertible!
