Wester's and my mileage

Well I've had my Wester's 89 tune now for a few weeks. Up until I changed to the Wester's PCM, I was averaging 13.45 mpg (corrected after tires difference) on 87 Octane, this was taken over a 2 month period. After changing to the Wester's, I got 14mpg on the first tank with 89 octane, the next one I got 14.7mpg, and this last one I put in, I got almost 16mpg. Between the 14.7mpg and the 16mpg, I swapped in a 180* Hypertech t-stat, just to make sure I get rid of any possible pinging, which I didn't have, just wanted to make sure. I never got anywhere near these #'s before. Just for an idea of what I can run in this truck I filled up with 87 Octane yesterday. I drove 60 miles today, no pinging, no noticeable loss of performance, can't tell you all in dyno charts what I gained, but just for everyday driving, I'm only dissappointed I didn't get my Wester's sooner! With my 87 octane tank, I running with my tailgate down, just to see if there is any difference. Just thought I'd let you all know about MY experience so far! Chris
