Yup. My friend Matt and I installed my HIDs on my truck yesterday. Let me tell you...they are incredible. Here's some pics from our installation session:

This is what we started with. I got a pair of Yukon Denali projectors for my truck about two weeks ago.

What could this be...?

We tried installing them like this, but the lights wouldn't turn on...

Here's Matt with one of the HID bulbs.

Here I am with one of the ballasts.

One ballast in...

Two ballasts in. As a certified Sears auto technician, Matt informed me that the Kirkland battery in my truck is actually a DieHard battery in disguise.

Here we are trying to find Matt's stack of c-notes that he dropped in the engine bay...actually, we're plugging the wires into the headlight unit.

It works! I know it looks a little yellow in this pic, but trust me, that baby was burning blue-ish white.

Projector cut-off on the garage wall. Keep in mind that these pics were taken during the day with the sun setting behind us. I haven't had a chance to take night time pics yet.

Matt made a bunny shadow puppet...awwwwww!

The projectors costed me $410 shipped from P&G Chevrolet. I got an awesome deal on the HIDs from a local vender...they costed me $285 total. Installation was pretty easy. The projectors fit right in there with no modifications. I had to drill a couple of holes to mount the ballasts and power supplies in places where they could reach the headlight units, but it was nothing major. Overall, I am VERY happy with how they turned out.

Do you know if they sell a kit for the 03 Silverado's?????

I'm not sure if there is a kit specifically for the 03 Silverado (like the Sylvania one for the 99-02 Silverados), but all I did was buy a 9005 kit (Denalis use 9005 rather than 9006 like Silverados and Sierras). It fits any 9005 headlight housing. You'd just have to find 9006 kit and you're set.

Now add HID high beams and HID fogs and you can make your own daylight, ask me how I know. Nice job HID lights are worth it.

I mounted my balast and starter behind my headlight capsule. The light output is awsome but I would not convert my highbeams and fog lamps over to HID. You really benefit from having both light ranges from the incandescant and the High Intensity Discharge. BTW, what color rating bulb did you get?

here are just my lowbeams just a few minutes after sunset
