Amidst all the grilling, drinking, and celebrating this weekend let's not forget what we're supposed to be celebrating. Remember to take the time to thank any and all men and women of our military who risk their lives preserving the freedoms we have.

 

To all of those who are serving or have ever served thank you very much. There is no way to put into words the thanks you deserve.

Absolutely. I actually ran into a guy who used to go to the same babysitter I did back when we were in gradeschool. He was heading out to his truck the other night and I ran the plate for the heck of it, and his license showed expired, so I pulled up next to him in this parking lot and got to talking...I saw his date of birth and the name and thought maybe it could be the kid I knew. I hadn't seen him in probably about 17 years or so. Well it was him and apparently he had just gotten back in town from the middle east as he's in the Coast Guard.
