Paul Menard and DEI

Menard to DEI: Dale Earnhardt Incorporated racing is set to announce the joining of Paul Menard to the DEI stable of drivers.

 

 

Menard will run a yet unannounced numbered car with a Menard Home Improvement stores sponsorship. The sponsorship is stouter than the money deal with Napa Auto Parts, and for five years.

 

 

Menard will run three years of Busch and two years of Cup under the new contract. The team's first Busch event is set to be Loudon, New Hampshire

 

 

 

 

I didn't see this happening. Menard hasn't done too much in the busch series so far this season.

Nothing really surprises anymore. It's all about the $$$$$$$.

Is the Busch deal DEI or Chance 2 (not that there's much difference). I figure Chance 2 will need a new driver next year for Busch, I would expect Truex Jr. to be in the 1 car next year if DEI can secure sponsorship for it, and with the way he's run in the Busch series so far I bet they can.

I didn't see this happening. Menard hasn't done too much in the busch series so far this season.

You have to remember... We were all saying the same thing about Jamie McMurray, and Kasey Kahne.
