Retail is $699.99, crutchfield price is $659.99, online price is around $450 the cheapest, I got this baby for $364.99 This is the latest sony model and the only differnece between this one and the 9900 is that the 9905 model has all blue lighted buttons. sweet.... Anyways I thought you guys might want to see this stereo, I plan to install this baby in my center console when I get it finaly this week. And put an LCD in the stock radio location plugged into an XBOX. Yep going to be jamming with an xbox in my ride, so I can watch dvd movies, along with play some games.

If you don't mind, where did you order from, and can anyone get that deal?

I got the deal from my buddy who works for sony, any sony employee can get the same deal. They get up to 50% off on most items.

if you dont know someone that works for sony, give me a pm and I will pass on his information to ya. I have already gotten a remote from him....a 200$ remote... got it for 100$.

The way it works is, I call or email him on the Sony model number I want. He tells me if its possible (some sony products ESPECIALY computer parts and pc's they dont get jack on) and how much. I send him money order and a little extra for shipping the item to me plus 20$ for his time and effort. Hes on time and very trustworthy. Thats pretty much it.

What year truck do you have? I just put that same headunit in my 04 Silverado and it cost A LOT more than an ordinary install because they had to bypass the Bose and OnStar s**t. Doubt you will have that problem, but a word of caution to anyone who has that setup. You also lose all OnStar voice-commands. As far as the unit itself, it's very nice. The display is incredible, but haven't added my own images yet. Just wish it played WMPs!
