Got my Revos

Finally got my Revo's on my '02 a couple of weeks ago. All I can say is WOW! With all of the rain that we have had in the DFW area recently, I can honestly attest to the Revo's great wet weather handling!

The Revo's are the best tire I have ever owned, great in the dry, wet, mud and snow.

look pretty good but I'm wondering what ply those tires are I would never put anything less than 8 on my truck.

I used to work at Firestone, and fell in love with Revoi's.. Got a set of 31's for my buddies pre-runner for under 250 bucks (about 30% of the price for a set for a customer installed) Took the tires out to the desert and played in the sand and they did bitchen. Drove many street miles and beat the tires to hell.. had 9 nails in one tire.. Never had a flat! Tires never made noise. Have since broken a lower ball joint and gone through abvout ten uppers which caused the camber to be off.... causeing massive tire wear which finally lead to their demise.. but Totally agree with the best tire on the road comment!

The Revo's are LT265x75x16s Load Range D. Don't know off hand how many plys that adds up to...

Man my Revo's have been great. About 7,500 miles so far and look like they were brand new. Great in the snow.

Of course I am comparing to the factory Goodyears (Wrangler RT/S). Man those were terrible.

I just got a set of Revo's installed today at the local Costco. I went with the P-metric tires as I really don't have a need for an LT tire. Paid $457 out the door as Costco had an $80 off coupon for the tires and mounting!!

Absolutely hated the OEM Wilderness AT's that came on the truck. They had 43K on them and in the last rain, I got to hydroplaning out on the freeway and wasn't a good feeling at all.

Hopefully these will help with snow traction come next ski season!!

I just got a set of Revo's installed today at the local Costco.

I purchased my Revo's at Costco as well and took advantage of that $80 coupon. They had to order the LT tires since they don't stock them. I hear ya about the OEM Wilderness tires! Had all kinds of trouble trying to get them to hook up in the wet.. No such issues with the new tires yet.

What size did ya go with?

I went with the 265/75's as this Costo will just not install tires in another size if their computer doesn't show it as a factory size. But I never found the Revo in a 285 P-metric size anyway.

Thanks! The tool box is a Better Built that I picked up on clearance at a Lowe's store that a Buddy works at. I think I payed about $100 or so for it after his discount. It was the floor model, but they kept their floor models on the top shelf, so it was basically brand new. I think they sell them for around $180 or so... I had been looking for a low profile model for some time when he call to say that they had one that he could clearance. I like the fact that it does not obscure my rearward view and I can still slide wood and stuff underneath.
