Gas pedal depressed...noise?

Hey Guys, there are some really annoying sounds coming from my truck recently and it is about driving me nuts! The worst I have to say is when I slightly depress the gas pedal and I can audibly hear a noise coming from the pedal region that starts & stops when I give it gas and let it off. It is like a constant ticking sound...very weird! The other sound is when I take off from a stop or a near stop and the whole truck seems to make a sound like bushings shifting or something. It is a loud squeak. Anyone have any suggestions on how to fix 1 or both of these annoyances?

The loud "squek" could be slip yoke fixed by pulling driveshaft and lubing it. In my case it went away when I changed the fluid in my transfer case with the new blue stuff. Noisy gas pedal sorry I don't know. might work.

A search for driveline clunk may give you some solutions to your starting and stopping sound.

the noisy gas pedal issue could be the rusty pedal spring. i recall I had that one a while back -- my fix was to get under there with some WD40 or other spray lubricant and hit the spring with that.... take a cloth to put on the carpet so the spray doesn't drip down on your carpet.

 

That's the only thing I can think of on the noisy pedal.
