Engine cuts out - 96 Blazer

Help ! Looking for any ideas what may be causing this problem. Vehicle is 1996 Chevy S10 Blazer, 4.3 engine, 150K+ miles, less than 2K on engine.

SYMPTOMS: When the outside temperature is 78-80 degrees or above, and the engine is sufficiently warmed up, the car loses power and dies. It dies it going up a slight incline, it dies driving flat at high speeds, and it dies in stop-and-go traffic. Sometimes the "check engine soon" light comes on, but not always. The best the mechanic can tell from his scan testing, each time it has done this, is that the gauges do not reflect what is actually happening. Scanner Test - No DTG's

PARTS REPLACED ALREADY- directly related to trying to fix this problem: Ignition module, Coil, Crank Position Sensor (2 times) VCM (Vehicle Central Module), Fuel Pump (3 times), Distributor Cap (2 times), Rotor (2 times), O2 Sensors (2 times), and finally long block Engine assembly.

Three Chevy dealers, and two other shops have tried to solve this problem, but then again they don't have the collective knowledge of this forum.

Any thoughts?

In all those parts, did anyone ever change the fuel filter? That'd be my first part, it's less than $10 and fairly easy to replace...
