I have a GMC with a 5.7 and I have the magnaflow system if you are looking for a nice low rumble while just sittng at a stop light and a nice bark when you are on the gas that is the system to go with I have had mine for like 9 months it is pretty well broken in and I think it sounds great.

90Gmc, I have decided on a Magnaflow system for my truck also.

I want a single in dual out swept behind the right rear tire.

Can you tell me what size muffler you went with? I see on the MF website

that I can get anything from 14"-22". Thanks

I just got a single in, single out Magnaflow on my 02, and it sounds great...Not sure if you can get a dual out on only one side without having pipes custom bent/cut/welded in place. Of course, that's still cheaper than ordering a cat-back exhaust system.

If money is no object than I wouldn't put anythign but a Borla on my vehicle.

Lingenfelter says, "It's just better than anything else out there."

If money is an object, I would probably put the Magnaflow on.

Any freer flowing muffler will increase gas mileage, as long as it's the right set-up and you're not constantly wanting to hear the exhaust :flag:

I had a 3" single installed w/ a 70 series, it sounds awesome, and as long as I keep my foot out of the throttle, it helps mileage significantly while cruising the highway.

Overall, a straight through muffler, i.e Borla, Magnaflow, Bassani, etc, will ultimately improve mileage :)
