tranny coolers

Have a 04 burb had the factory tranny cooler installed, looks so tiny that i almost had to laugh. Anybody have a suggestion. is this cooler going to do the job here in southern ca where its 110 hot.

Are you sure your looking at the tranny cooler?? Now the power steering cooler is cute enough, but the factory coolers look pretty good, on my 01 the power steering cooler is a two pass mounted vertical on the rad. support. The Factory cooler would have been mounted in front of the AC condenser in the center up top.

 

Of course the rule of thumb for a tranny cooler.. bigger is good, huge is best. You can alwasy add one in series with the one you have, or add a temp gauge to your cluster.
