Installed an AEM Brute Force air intake system. I love it!!

That in combination with the new Magnaflow 22" muffler, my truck drives like a different truck.

I had no idea just how restricted the "air flow" on these trucks are!

If you open it up quite a bit, there will be a slight "howl" in the cab, but it is not bad and actually sounds quite nice with the new pipes!

My truck feels like an old man who drank from the fountain of youth! LOL

  Ok well I guess Lake disagrees with me on a few points. I call oil consumption pretty basic. Rudimentary. He calls it "really complicated." I think 1qt consumed in 3k miles is a lot. He says that's normal. In 22 minutes, he'll use his natural talent to explain oil consumption to anyone watching this video. He covers everything from obvious engine damage to how normally functioning healthy engines consume oil by design. Lake explicitly states how you drive will impact oil consumption. Shut up and watch:

  Check for broken bolts holding the exhaust manifolds to the heads, common problem. Dorman makes a repair piece if you find you have broken 1s and don't want to do the surgery to replace them

  My dealer says it's the 6.6 from the HD modified for the 1500's. So, my money's on the 6.7.
