Any actual brake swappers on 2004 here?

Like many here, I also am disappointed with the pedal travel and sponginess of the brakes on my new 2004 Crew cab 1500 4WD. Has anyone actually done anything here about this with great results? Like larger/different rotors, proportioning valves, one way vacuum valve, vacuum cannister...anything that made them like the ones on the 2500HD which was my last truck. Those were hydroboost and man did they stop on a dime!
