With my lift and 35's I am getting 9-10 around town.....11- low 12 driving really fast on the highway...and 12-low 13 doing 65.

Over the past 8000 miles i've driven I've averaged 9.994 mpg.......this is all from my math...not the trucks computer....I've kept track of everyfill up since February....give or take a few.

I get 10.5 - 11.5 around town and 8.5 towing my 5er. Other than the 265 tires, everything else is stock.

Not sure if it is my driving style or my 3.73 gears. This is my sales truck, putting on 60,000+ miles a year. Best tank so far of 16.7 (cruise set at 68, AC off), worst tank of 11.1 (stop and go Las Vegas traffic, 111*, AC blasting). I average 12.9 around town and 15.1 on the open road. 8.1/Allison/3.73/Westers 87-91 dual tune.

I literally stopped for gas every 200 miles! I usually fill up right at a 1/4 tank so as not to burn out the pump, so maybe 150-170 in reality!

Being out of a job, the gas prices that spiked early this summer coupled with having to fill up 3-4 times a week was simply killing me.

I average about 11 mpg per tank. I have the long bed so my tank is about 34 gallons. I usually fill up every 300 - 320 miles. I have 285/70/17's on the truck. I tend to get around 9 in the city and 11 overall per tank. Towing the 12000 pound boat, well, lets just say you can count the mileage on one hand.

You guys must drive like little old ladies because the 7mpg was killing me that I got which is why I sold it.

I'd hardly call cruising at 80mph driving like a little old lady!

depends on which tune i use. but been getting 14.8 with XR 270 cam in . Yes I have seen the trip meter over 420 miles on it before fill up. It seem that these engines from the factory are crap tuned and stuff up like bad cold in january. as soon as I went to a tune and replace factory intake tube with free flowing home made one and gutted airbox and ported TB. things got better.
