Anyone have one on a trailblazer or Z71 Sierra?

Want to do a driveway for personal use only.

Looks pretty sweet and lightweight.

Any experience with it? I see they advertise on this forum.

Thanks,

Just an update.

Bought a snowsport plow and I have to say I am very impressed. Easy install and a great design.

Used is a few times already this winter and it is a great product.

It follows the KISS principle (Keep it simple stupid). As an engineer in the automotive industry I give credit to snowsport for a great design and a high quality of manufacturing. I am only bummed that I did not think of this myself.

All steel hardware is powdercoated and well constructed (no skimping whatsoever) and the extruded aluminum blade is top notch.

Highly recommended.

The blade is about half the height of a regular plow blade so that it does not interfere with the headlights and turn signals while transporting on the highway. The blade can easily handle 6 inches of snow depth without spilling all over during a push. The blade does pitch 30 degrees left or right so it is still effective in deep snow.

My drive is about 200 feet and I have had no issue. Worst case you may have to make multiple passes to get it perfectly clean.

One of the best features is that when you approach the pile area at the end of your push the blade automatically rises up the pile and distibutes the snow nicely without crashing into the pile.

If I did not mention before the bottom of the blade is a thick rubber scraper which will not clear ice or scape to bare pavement, but it is great on gravel drives and is lawn friendly.

Cost:

If you order direct from snowsport the plow with the mount that allow pitching the blade 30 degrees either way is $1200 plus if you opt for the front receiver hitch it was an additional $150. I recommend the front hitch as it makes plowing so much easier that trying to do it in reverse.

You can get just the straight ahead mount for I think $200 less.

No tax and when I bought it it had free shipping.

Takes about 30 minutes to install the front hitch and 5 minutes to hook up or remove the plow from the truck.

The best 1400 I ever spent on my back.
