Does any one else have problems with their extended warranty?? This last time I went in for service the dealership charged me almost $600. This is for an oil change, my carb being cleaned, an inj flush, and a new tensioner. (Not to mention I just had the “better service” done to my car). I told them I have the extended warranty. They looked up the info and determined that $125 should be knocked off. I paid it so I could get my car. I sent the info to my brother. According to the extended warranty I should have not paid the amount I did. Now the dealership doesn’t want to have anything to do with it. They will not issue me a credit. Is it just me or is this an issue. I need feedback!

An extended warranty (well atleast the GMPP) does not cover things like oil (fluid)changes, contaminated fuel systems, etc. One thing that kinda stood out in your message was cleaning the carb and an injector cleaning? You have one or the other, not both..

From the work you listed, the new tensioner was probably the only thing covered under warranty.

How funny because I just wrote exactly what was on my invoice. They put both of those things on it. What about the tensioner?

Belt Tensioner is probably under warranty, (belt itself probably is not tho). I'd definitely ask why they charged you for a carb cleaning and an injector flush..
