Shocks

I have 1996 gmc z-71 with a 3inch body lift and 3 inch suspension lift. I didn't pu tit on, but I'm looking at shocks. I like he looks of the rancho shocks, I don't do any hard off-roading, so I just need a decent shock that is fairly cheap. Rancho looks good. Just need some advice. Also steerign stabilzers. Are they worth putting on and also are there heavy duty power steering pumps? I'm going to get a new one, just a stock pump because mine wines really loud, 35 inch mud tires have worn it out I think. Need some advice! Thanks!

you might run into a problem finding shocks for a truck with either a 2 or 3 inch lift on it. i am looking for the same thing and have talked to all the major makers and they all have either OE size or 4-6 inch lifted shocks. I might end up having to use a custom shock mount. Just my 2 cents worth.
