Yep, do a search for "wiring harness" . I just was looking in there and found some links that are pretty nice. Wire colors etc. You could do it w/o a specail harness but for the $$$ well worth it.

I put a pioneer mp3 unit in my 2001 silv. It was a very easy install I got the installation kit and wiring connnectors at circuit city The wiring kit plugged right into the factory harness and the new unit, no splices A good site for stereo install info is www.installdr.com/

You can also try www.crutchfield.com, they have all of the necessary adapters, hardware, and info for just about any radio swap. If you buy the unit from them, they usually throw in the harnesses for free.

 

They have great customer service also...answered a ton of questions for me when I decided to upgrade my speakers.
