Seems like GMC is going with a new look for the Canyon, In my opinion the looks really brings out the truck maybe just maybe the new canyon is giving some hints on what the new sierra will look like!

Sure would be nice if they would get on the ball and put something like this out. But this was out about the time the Colo/Canyons were coming off the line in full production in late 03 early 04. Oh and a 6' bed option would be a good idea too. I guess if the "other guys" are doing it GM should too. It looks like it has acceptable tires on it, instead of the Generals that everyone seems to complain about. But what do I know.

Is that a picture of the 05 Canyon? When is it supposed to hit the dealer lots?

Unfortunetly NO that is not the 05 version. We could all wish. Another website that specilizes in in pickuptruck s has a review of the Colorado. Also has some pics of a Cruz special that of course will not make it into production. And my favorite part is the interview with the Colorado Brand Manager. Gives just a bit of insight as to where the truck came from and where it is headed.

That looks like the Canyon AT4 Concept from last year. If only they had made the Canyon look like that in first place, minus of course the flares on the side, and a more "muscular" looking bed. As in it something that flows better and looks more truck duty like.

It is the AT4 which was shown at the SEMA show last year.

I haven't driven a Canyon yet but I've driven many Colorados and I have to say I'm VERY disappointed. Cheap interior, looks & feels like a mid 90's Nissan. very overpriced etc.

What? very cheap plastic thats :D i own one, a crew cab 04 colorado and the interior isn't cheap and does not feel like a 90's nissan, and the price for my colorado was based at 19,500 which isnt bad compared to some small trucks that are out there.

Maybe you got one built by Ford then! :P I work PT at a GM dealership and even most of the salesman hate the craporado. We've got 4x4 ext cabs sitting on the lot with sticker prices in the mid to upper 20's and the interior looks like it belongs in a $10k Daewoo! To get a CC with decent seats (leather) then you're well over $30k! Cheap seat materials, shallow flat dash (go compare to a 90's Nissan Hardbody) I think the previous gen S-10 had a much nicer dash and the interior has much nicer plastics and fabrics (pre-2003 anyway). I've talked to the mechanics and they think it's a POS too.

If you like your truck, great. For the money I'd spend just a little more and get a Silverado.

Ford yeah rite, for working for a chevy dealership and salespeople saying its crap im thinking this guy gotta be a troll or something. A salesperson job is to sale and not make remarks on a new model truck.

Hey Buddy, I've got news for you, just because someone works at a GM dealership doesn't mean they have to love every GM vehicle! Sorry to disapoint you but I'm not a troll and I do work at a GM dealership PT.

And i've been down to omaha Ne many times and know some of the sales people there, so i dont know where your getting these remarks unless its you and some ford guy

Yeah, because afterall there's only 1 dealership in the whole area. :D:cheers:

Yeah it's a threat :D

You're the one that thinks you know more than me! :D

Enjoy your Craporado. I'll stick to using bailing wire to keep mine together until GM decides to build a decent midsize again.
