best first mod for 6.0?

Id imagine everyone will say Westers tune, right? Are there any upcoming mass buys on the Westers tune?

 

Any other suggestions?

I would open the intake (K&N) or something, then open up the exhaust (Magnaflow) or what ever else impresses you. Then I would go Westers. They all three work well together.

I agree!!! The order doesn't matter, the Wester's tune will automatically adjust the tune for both the intake and exhaust changes.

a nelson tune will do you right. more performance than a consevative westers.great customer service and free updates as well.

Not true at all, they will both tune to any level you desire. Wester's and Nelsons both get pinging problems ocasionally and have to reburn the tunes. Pinging means the tune was a little too hot!

pinging. what pinging. i think westers will not tune as hot as allen simply because he usually does not remove all tqm. even though he says he does.

Wester's will remove as much TM as you request, none or all, same as all the tuners have the ability to. These are custom tuners, they will tune to any level of tuning you desire.

 

All TM should not be removed unless the tranny is beefed up with at least a shift kit anyway.

dont forget the servo. and i have seen tqm in some of westers no tqm tunes.
