i wanted to install 2 10"subs in my 99 silverado sl ext cab and was wondering if any body has did this and where is a good place to mount them,thanks for any info

What kind of subs? Ported or sealed box? I have two 10" subs in a downfire box(sealed)underneath the rear seat in my '00 extended cab. A lot of people have this setup.

If you are of any caliber wood worker you can build your own box that will fit (barely) under the rear seat, with an amplifier in the middle. Thats what I did anyways with two 10" subs in non-ported boxes. If you want I'll email you blue prints on my design.

Mine's fit and finish isn't nearly as perfected as their's but for the price mine sure is great for me. If I had the time and patience I would redo mine to fit better than it does, but it doesnt stick out from under the seat and that's all that matters to me. And I'm no carpet layer so mine looks like
