What should I expect?

Well I cannot run any of my camaros until I get enough money for insurance (college grad + new job = some financial catch up) so I thought I would run my truck for kicks and giggles and maybe for nothing more than a chuckle or two. I am tired of watching during track nights and I want a peice of the action no matter how slow I run. Here is some info.

 

'98 sierra

4.3 Auto

134,000 miles

Bone stock

4200 lbs with driver and gas (zero option work truck)

Stock 3.42 rear (I think)

 

I have seen 4.3 S-10's run mid 15's and I would assume that with the weight difference I could shoot for mid to low 17's at around 80 to 85mph. Has anyone run their 4.3 full size?

Well the track was closed for weather and I doubt we get another night this year so looks like I will have to wait. I was just curious to see some track times of what other members have run (if they even bothered with this type of truck ).
