04 RC silverado needs speakers

Are there any speakers out there I can just drop right in to the doors and pillars to replace the factories.. I dont want to cut or drill.. I went to crutchfield and they seem to all want me drilling new holes and new mounting brackets.. oh.. and will subs hook up to the factory head unit ?

Yes, and no.

 

Yes, there are a TON of speakers that will bolt right in to the factory locations. Walk into your local BB or CC and ask them to show you which ones....Then go buy them online

 

No, subs will not connect directly to your factory setup. You need a) an amplifier, and b) a method of connecting it to your head unit.

 

Amps are not a difficult install, but if you are worried about having to drill new holes for speakers, you may want to just have the amplifier installed by the place that you buy it.

 

 

Oh....And Crutchfields "vehicle selector" sucks.

Yeah thats the idea I got from crutchfields site.. I kept thinking there has to be way more than 3 speakers that fit my truck..
