fuel problem

ok.my truck has a womens mind.does what it wants when it wants.problem is.i have no fuel at the injectors.has plenty of fuel at the line in back of the tbi but when i crank it nothing.oh.and i dont think it has any spark when it acts up.is there something that goes bad and causes it not to spark or let the injectors work.1989 5.7 tbi

Could be the ignition module OR pick-up coil in the distributer. The pick-up coil sends a signal to the ignition module which sends a signal to the ECM to pulse the injectors and to the ign. coil for spark....They are both mounted in the distributer under the cap....the module can be replaced without removing the dist. from the engine, but if its the pick-up is bad, the dist. will have to removed and dis-assembled.... :thumbs:

you are the man.i went out and looked around and the cap and guess what i found.one of the wires that connect to the cap were off.i plugged her in and she started right up.i thank you for you time :flag: you are the best.
