Big O Tires

I searched, and searched our forum... but found no opinions of Big O Bigfoot AT tires. I did find some comments on Big O AT's and MT's on some off-road forums, and they got some good reviews.

Well, yesterday I replaced my factory 245 Bridgestones with 265 Big O Bigfoot AT tires. I initially was going to compare the BFGs with them, but they didn't have load range E in the BFG's, and I was able to trade in my factories (they gave me $200 for them) if I went with the Bigfoots. So... I got the Big O Bigfoot AT LT265/75R16-E's. I like the tread pattern - it is a completely re-done Bigfoot tire that just came out in the fall according to the sales dude - and the fact that they have a full 60K mile warranty - not prorated. Well, being a beautiful day today in Colorado (the Broncos even won today! :flag: ) I went for a little "drive" in the mountains, and darn if I didn't somehow "bump into" some mud and snow up there (imagine that). I have to say, that the truck felt very sure-footed in everything I went through; loose dirt, gravel, mud and snow. The highway driving is also very good with these, you wouldn't think I was taking the smooth mountain curves in a 6000lb truck. The truck felt much more solid and stable than with the factories.

Anyway, I know this is a very preliminary review of these tires, but so far I'm impressed - I was a little hesitant and not sure what to expect with these. I'll post more in the future in case anyone is interested in how they do as time goes by.

Yep, I kept the same stock 6.5" wheels - no problem.

Look at the same thread in the Product Reviews forum. There is more info there.

I have the 28575R16 Big O XT tires on mine and I like them alot. 25,000 miles on 'em and I think I can get at LEAST 15,000 more out of them. Not too bad for the aggresive tread they have in my opinion. I don't have the stock wheels on them. I have some Eagle alloys 8". Just my .02 :chevy:
