Car and truck on the same remote?

Is it possible to have both my car and my truck use just one remote? It's a pain to have two sets of keys depending on which vehicle I want to drive.

No it wont because everytime you activate the fob. it changes the encrypted code and there are millions of them. Most likely your fobs are different anyway.

First check the #'s on the back of the remotes..If they are the same id say there is a good chance you can. If they are different... Nope

I have 2 trucks, a 2002 and a 2004, when I did the remote starters I had the remotes programmed to both do both trucks, both for starting and for lock/unlock. Easy with a 4 button remote.

But, to answer your question, with the factory remotes, even if you could get them on the same channel, both vehicles would lock/unlock at the same time.
