Time to Buy one......

So after all the great advice given here, I've decided to proceed w/ the purchase of a TrailBlazer and I'm gonna try to get the newest possible.

My next question is, when is the best time to get an '04 ? I know the '05s are out which will help, but is it better to wait till the end of december when dealers are trying to clean out their inventory?

Any personal experiences w/ this?

:D

Thanks,

-Buzz

I got 10k off my new 03' TB Ext in Nov of 03', truck had 300 miles on it, loaded to the gills, sticker was 43k paid a little over 32k out the door. So I'd say shop the lots for dealer's stock and good luck. You never know what a dealer is trying ot get rid of.

I am sure you can wait till next year, but if you desire a certain color, config, or option, you may be SOL for a 2004. I'd start looking around dealers, or go to a dealer that you feel comfortable with and pull up all the TrailBlazers that meet your requirements in your area. Usually, dealers can pull up inventory from other dealers to see what is available. Also, you may want to price a 2005 for grins to see if you can get a comparable version that is year older for a little bit more. Also, chevy may be willing to deal a little more as the year draws to an end because Ford and Chevrolet appear to be battling for the #1 sell title. Thats what I've heard. Just my opinion.

GM "cheapened" the DIC in the 05 Avalanche and Escalades, etc. You may want to see what they did with the TB. Compare what each have.. It that's your interest that is...

Good luck!

Go to the Chevy website and search for all the '04 models in your area to see what they have. You don't want to wait too long since they have between $5000 to $6000 off the Trailblazers now. There are some minor changes to the '05 models though. The interior now features white-faced gauges, different shifter and door pulls on the LT models as well as silver door-sill plates that say Trailblazer. The badging on the exterior is different as well. There is a large gold bowtie on the rear above the gate release and the Trailblazer script is changed also.I also noticed they made the power rear vent windows an option now on the EXT models where they used to be standard.
