Silverado Payload

I recently hauled 500 bricks in my Silverado and was curious to what this truck is rated at.  The back end sat down a bit, but the engine didnt seem to have been affected.  These are standard house bricks that weighed about 3.5 - 4 lbs. Total weight I carried that day was approx 2300 lbs...  Any one have any firm numbers?  Thanks in advance...

The payload in the brochure states around 1700 lbs. if I'm not mistaken. Sounds like you did well with way over that. Don't worry about it though, we go over on our dumpster truck alot also. Just don't get caught by the DOT.
