Will 00-03 step bars fit an 04?

I found step bars on sale for a good price, but the application guide at the shop did not cover the 04 year- just 03 and older. The part is listed for an 00-03 application, so the question is whether there is any change in the frame between an 03 and an 04 Silverado 1500 Extended cab.

They will fit fine. There are no changes to the truck in that area. The only difference is 2000 that was a 3 door and there wont be a step at the second door if they are for a 3 door on the drivers side.

What brand bars are they? I know my westins I have are good for 00-04 (probably 05 now too)

I have no idea what brand they are. I don't expect much from them, btu they were $99 for the set. BUT it is a work truck, and I need something for my wife to step on when she gets in or out if the truck is all muddy from work.

The early build 2000 Ext.cab's were 3-Doors,the late builds (Starting around Jan.) were 4-Doors.

I had a 2001 ext. cab that I ordered in August of 2000 and 4-doors were standard for the ext. cabs for the entire 2001 model year.
