My '04 Z71 ECSB gets high 13s - low 14s in the city and 16.5 at 80mph and 20 at 67mph on the highway depending on how fast I'm driving. I don't exactly have the lightest foot in town.

The DIC on our '04 Z71 Tahoe reads an average of 16.1 mpg with an odo reading of 10286. Best mileage to date is 26.2, worse to date is 12.9. Overall actual average is 16.12 mpg.

Last I checked I was getting around 14 combined...but that was before my recent performance mods. Now that I'm always on the go pedal, I'm afraid to check :chevy:

I found that driving by watching the instant mpg and driving like the truckers do (cruise control off, not giving it gas to keep up the speed going up hills and speeding up on downhill streches, and drafting large trucks) can give you better gas mileage. Of course with it being cool out and A/C off helps too. That was how I acheived 26.2 mpg averaging 65 mph on a 350 mile stretch. My previous best was 22.5 mpg with cruise at 75 mph.

I've been getting around 13-15 around town in my '03 4.8l ECSB. Like to be getting better but my foot is anything but light.

My best was 17.5 on a long trip and my worst has been 12.5.

I average about 14 mpg. 12-13 in town and 15-16 on the highway running 70-75. I'm trying to decide if changing the PCM will be worth it if the mileage goes south.

My '99 averaged 16 in combined city and highway driving.

I have an 04 5.3 4X4 ECSB, I get anywhere from 16.5 to 18.5. I drove across the state of Indiana in 4 wheel drive in a snow/sleet/rain/ice storm and I got about 17MPG. I was only going 35 to 40 MPH, so I thought that was pretty good.
