Is this a good price?

Just bought a used 2004 chevy silverado LT, ext cab, 5.3 V-8 with 30,000 miles for almost $22,000, The retail price was 28,000. Has the leather, onstar, 17 inch wheels, pretty well loaded. Really its my fiance's pickup, but she is worried about it being a lemon because they sold it so cheap. Do you guys think its a good deal? and should I be worried about it being a lemon?

i would have my local dealer run the VIN and see what and any work done on the vehicle and also I would have my insurance agent run the VIN also and see if any insurance companies have ever paid out on any losses on that vehicle.

We did go to KBB website before we went there and retail was shown at $28,000 and the dealer we bought the truck from gave us the carfax which is post to have all the history I assume. My Fiance is just a little paranoid though. What do you think?

If the carfax showed clear, then you should be in good shape. Carfax will buy a vehicle back if there is any problem that they did not have on the report. I would go to the insurance company and ask them to run a history on the VIN though. Maybe the dealer just stole the truck from someone else and wanted too much for it. You came along and were interested, they sold it to you. A common sales tactic is to "box the trade" which means that they are not giving you full value of your trade in. When they do this, they can make it seem like you are getting their vehicle for less, when they are just giving you less for yours. Hope this makes sense.

shoot me the vin and I'll run a VIS to see what all warranty work has been done on it. Seems like it was cheap but not just dirt cheap. Have seen some 70K mile 03's for around $17K. granted it's 5K cheaper but kinda miley. The trucks were both real nice though.
