Auto-dimming side mirrors....q for those who have

I just bought an 03 Silverado 1500 LT...it has the rear view and side mirrors that auto-dim...my question is, is the passenger side suppose to dim, or just the driver side? Because right now, only my rear view and driver side does. Thanks!

Hey check out the power fold mirrors, It's very cool !

 

Just put the switch in the middle and push the adjust button right to fold and left to put them back out.

My '99 OBS dims the left, right, and rear view. Finally! Mark one up for the OBS'...

Can't wait till I get my power fold turned on. Just put the mirrors on and everything worked but the power fold and curb assist. Weird thing is that now that the new clock spring is installed I still don't have curb assist.

Have you checked out the Curb Assist? When you put it in reverse, the mirrors tilt down to make it easier to aim where your rear tires are. You turn it on with your DIC & steering wheel controls.

kirkRHughes, I have the base model truck with power mirrors, are these new mirrors the ones with the turn signals and heat? Are they just plug and play (except for the power fold feature?) I really would like the autodim feature and would install it just for that alone.
