Looks like they decided to install Green Keys on a few 2500's this month. They said to use a ball joint press to get the bars out and install the new keys.

For shocks they say Bilstein 5100's will get it back to a good ride.

Any input on this or anyone with experience with those shocks?

I have them on my 2500 with a 6" RCD lift. It rides way better then stock.

I love the guys in the golf carts in your sig! Reminds me of my brothers and myself playing golf together. My brother actually had to pay for the damage he did for rolling his cart one day. I have never laughed so hard in my life seeing him flip it.

Back to your original question, what was their overall opinion of doing this? The Bilsteins are nice from what i have heard from those that have installed them. Aren't those the high dollar shocks though. I never know how to take comment by the mags because IMO it depends on what products are donated to the project is what they push and not what actually works the best.

LoL Golfcart Drifting is fun..lol The best is going super fast and jumping them about 10ft.

They didn't post any ride change, just said to be sure to get an alignment. I'm thinking of getting the 5100's for up front, but if several people say they have them all the way around and it improves the ride, then I'm sold.

i thought the keys were from ORU as an after market upgrade... not from another model truck. Am awaiting delivery of a trail ready front bumper to house my warn M12000-- will measure before and after and then decide whether to add new keys or just crank up the existing bars. My '91 GMC was done that way and after 125K miles, no issues w/ steering, tire wear and the like.
