Bug Deflector

Anyone know the part number on the GM Accessories Bug Deflector?  The one I'm talikng about I saw was smoke colored on a Denali...it was more of a thicker V and extended out past the edges of the hood...looked good, and you didn't have stops underneath it tacked to the hood, like a Lund I saw.  I've seen the Bugflector II and the Lund Interceptor, and they were both okay, and Perf. Products had a couple others I haven't seen in person....but I'm not drilling my hood for this ...if someone else had some recommendations, I'd be happy to hear other experiences...

If I had to guess, I would think that Lund or someone else makes the "GM" part for GM.    I have the Bugflector II and like it and like the Lund there is no drilling.  The BugFlecter II also sits far away from the hood to get a wash mit behind it, and you don't have to use those little plastic "gumdrops" to keep it from rubbing.  Most companies make a couple of different models, so I hope you can find what you're looking for...

I would also look at Stampede bugsheilds. I have one on my truck and wouldn't consider anything else. It also extends off the hood for easy cleaning and requires no drilling, it uses the factory drilled holes. Stampede also has a great warranty, after three weeks I broke mine (completely my own fault) and they exchanged it with no questions, I couldn't believe it. I have the Bugflector II and there is no drilling no bumpers. I had it painted white on the back side and it is almost invisible looking directly at the front of the truck. I wanted it to stop rocks and other debris. They really don't stop bugs that well.

I have a Drivers Design deflector. No drilling, easy install, put it on in the parking lot. Seems real durable, more so than the Lund I had, from what I can see. Pics are on my page if you want to see it.

I too have the Bugflector II.  Just installed it this past weekend, 5 minutes.  No drilling, no tape.  Works great, last long time.

I've got the Lund Avenger on mine.  Again, no drilling, but don't try to put it on in the dark.  Took me about twice as long to put it on because I was too impatient to wait till morning.  I didn't use the bumper that came with it cause it sits about an inch from the hood anyways.  I would advize to sand down the edge closest to the hood.  I've cut up my fingers a couple of times washing behind it.
