New Tires

Just bought a set of bridgestone duelar a/t revo's. I think the installer max inflated the tires. Should i run the tires at the air pressure that gm recommends which is 35 psi or should i put 40 in there? And plus i have 17 in wheels

My opinion is that it depends on the load rating of the Revos. If you got standard load then I'd say go with the 35psi. If you got the 6 ply or greater I'd increase the inflation pressure.

I agree with vroten, my BFG's have a higher rating than the original Firestones, and the tire shop inflated them to 45 front, and 50 rear...I decided to keep them at 45 all around since the factory spec is the same front and rear (35 psi).

My door says 35 stock, my Revos can take up to 55.  I run them at 40 and get a nice, comfortable ride.

Did you get the LT rated tires? I got the P rated tires. And I dont know if the tires would take 55 since they are p265 70r17

Call Bridgestone's customer service and ask that they give you the proper inflation pressure for your vehicle's tire size and weight. Most will know. Those values on the door are for the OEM tire size, design, and model only.
