white in or out

Tomorrow AM i get my 285/70/r17 BFG KO's installed....i do not know if they ordered the all blackwall or the white letter ones

 

my truck is a white 1500 ext z71 with dark grey bottom and flares

i just checked the BFg site and they only make a RWL tire in my size....i was told that i couldnt put the RWL inside?

I kind of like the white letters out. It looks tough. NOT WHITE WALLS!!!!! Just white letters.

unless the tire is directional it does not matter what side is out. I prefer black wall.

I like the RWL's out on most trucks...makes em look tougher. Really depends on what kind of a look that you're going for. Here's some of mine through the years:

 

My 71 Camaro, rwl's out (vehicle sold)

My 85 Monte SS, no rwl's (traded in)

My truck, rwl's out (current ride)

 

It'll definitely change the look of a vehicle, personally if I had your truck, I'd put the whites out...just my .02

Yeah, I agree...

 

I had black lettering out on my old Firestones but when I got my REVO's I had them put white lettering out and it is A LOT nicer looking. That is on a black truck though, but I would still recommed it even on a white truck. It just brings out more contrast and another thing to catch your eye when sitting still. Plus, you're getting some nice rubber, might as well let everyone know exactly what tire you got.

I like the white letters out on my truck. I had black on the tires I got off my mom's burban when she traded it in and then when I got the BFG's, I put the white letters out....I like the look much more.

White out. I had a Summit White 2003 Trailblazer LT. The lower edges of the bumper pads, the lower rocker, and all my accessories were smoke tinted or black. The RWL is a nice contrast to the rest of the black tire and looks especially good on white vehicles.
