Trailblazer Electronic Stability Control

A GM press release posted on this forum's home page states that Electronic Stability Control (ESC) will be available on the Trailblazer in 2005.

 

I am considering the purchase of a 2005 Trailblazer LT 4x4 and I have been unable to determine when ESC will be available. My Corvette has the option and I will not purchase another vehicle without it.

 

I sent an email to Chevrolet using their web site contact page, asking when ESC will be available on the Trailblazer. This is the response:

StabiliTrak, General Motors' vehicle stability enhancement system is not presently available on the 2005 Chevrolet Trail Blazer. We are unable to advise at this point when it may become available. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. Your preferred Chevrolet dealer would be your best source of information regarding new product developments. To obtain more information regarding the TrailBlazer, please visit www.chevrolet.com or contact your preferred dealership to arrange a test drive.
