6.5L GM diesel question

I have been thinking about the Turbo Power 6.5L GM diesel. Since they did at one time come stock attached to the 4L80E?? transmission, would it bolt up to a 2000 4L80E transmission? Would it bolt in to my Silverado with little modifications?

 

When my motor 6.0 gets tired or when I get tired of the piston slap I may want to swap out the gasser with the 6.5L diesel.

 

Any thoughts about this?

all 4l80Es have the same bolt pattern on the front. The 6.5L is the same as the gas engines. That's the beautiful thing about GM trucks, compatibility of parts.
