I've read lots of pinging issues with Westers tunes in the Mountain States,don't want the headache of doing it more than once.

If you are in an area with poor gas quality, sometimes the tune will have to be redone once or twice. This is custom tuning and only means Wester's is trying to maximise the tune to its full potential. Would you want less than that? Retunes are free, normally take less than a week and you are never without use of your truck. It's like putting your truck directly on Wester's dyno, when all the tweaking is done, you truly have a custom tune!

I've heard all good stuff about Wester's, Nelson's, etc. My personal experience is with PCMforLess and Bryan Herter, and I'm more than pleased. He took the time to try a bunch of different things for me to make my PCM work (99's are prone to false knock, especially with an aftermarket cam and springs...he custom tuned an 02 PCM for me), never charged me anything extra, and really turned my truck into a torque monster. I can't say enough about his abilities and customer service, it's definitely top notch!

My Wester's tune in my 6.0 knocked almost 8 tenths off my quarter mile time, 1.5 second off my 0-60 time and gained me 1-1.5 MPG around town and 3+ mpg on the highway!
