Sure is nice to have two trucks

After years of only having one truck here on the farm, its sure been nice to have two around.

I couldn't help myself, had to start using the ol Cummins for chores once she hit 700 miles, got almost 1900 on it now after a month of ownership. Sure handles the pasture and fields a lot better then the Chevy does, attribute that to the bigger tires, solid front axle, and a tighter limited slip in the rear axle. Chevy also feels like a car now, so low to the ground. :wtf:

Still don't have my gooseneck or my DMI hitches put in yet, but running boards are going on Monday. I am really itching to get a trailer or implement hitched on.

You should get something for that place where the front plate goes... I personally can't stand it when those things are blank.

....Or better yet, take the holder off. :D

Well, remember, I've had the truck one month now......plates aren't here yet.

Oh, I see. Are you running temps?

When we bought the X-Terra they handed us the permanent plates at the dealer right after we signed the papers.

I would figure the Cummins would be heavier on the front end... not exactly the best choice for runnin around in the mud IMO.

What Axle does dodge use? AAM? I never liked the dodge limited slip... I'd go with a locker, not exactly the G80...

Hope trailering goes good with the cummins. Get a good cushion hitch for pulling wagons. You seem to be set on DMI, I'm pretty happy with shuck hitches.
