Wester's Tune Results

I've been running a Wester's Garage 89/93 tune for a year and it's been great. Awesome power, instant throttle response, great shifts. When I heard he had a new 91/93 tune that still allowed towing, I took advantage of his 100% guarantee and upgraded. All I can say is WOW !!!!!

This new tune is awesome !!! Everything the old tune was X2 !!! I took it to the track and got numbers- again, wow !!!

I've shaved 1.2 seconds and gained almost 6mph in the 1/4. Went from 17.19 to 15.86. The truck is stock except the tune and a Volant cai. My 60' times went from 2.45 to 2.26. All of these numbers were on a slick track with CRAP traction, AND with only about 5 miles on the cpu. It wasn't even broke in !!!!

I'm also getting better mileage, although I'm not exactly sure how much just yet... I keep haulin' butt and ruining my average !!!! But, on the way to the track, I drove mellow, no bazai'ing, cruise set at 74.

On the way back with the new tune, cruise at 80, mostly running 85+ with a few runs up to 100- I STILL knocked down .6 mpg better !!! I'm confident there's at least 2mpg in it, if not more.

I also made one run up to 120, still pulling when I lifted. Where it used to labor to get to 101 stock, it now comparatively zips up to 110~115. I can start to really feel the air at 118~120, but it's still pulls. It might have 125~128 in it, maybe more ?? It shifted into OD at around 115 (!!), so if I would of pulled it back into 3rd.... I dunno, but I know it hauls butt for almost 6000 lbs !!!!

Anyway, if any of y'all ever considered getting a tune- DO IT !!!! You WON'T be sorry !!!! And with Wester's guarantee, you can't lose. EVERYTHING is covered 100%. The guy knows his stuff and has the utmost confidence in his product.

I won't own another vehicle w/o a Wester's tune !!!!

Westers is awesome for sure and your gains emphasize that even more. I am currently running a 93 octane hot tune and will be changing to the 91/93 dual octane hot tune in the near future. The benefits are totally worth it, just as stated above! If you are looking for the best in custom tuning options, look no further than Westers Garage...

My 93 octane was done back in the summer, is this something new thati increases performance since then? I have the 8.1 engine.

Glad to hear this kind of response, I have been considering a tune for my truck. I dont know to much about it, but I know I would enjoy the true power from my truck and wouldnt mind a little better milage to boot. Whats the price range for a tune anyway?
