Rancho 9000 Shocks Rusting

My Rancho 9000 shocks are rusting, should I be concerned?

 

I guess it is more of a cosmetic flaw, but I'd like it if they didn't rust. I've had them for about 9 months.

 

Any warranty on this or should I blow it off? Cuz i do clean them when I wash my truck.

The ones on my Blazer started rusting after about a year on there. They're now about 6 years old, and still fairly rusty, but they still work fine.

 

If you're that concerned about it, call Rancho. I've had a few replaced in my life from them without a single whimper about warranty issues...Of course, those were broken shocks, not just rusty.

After about 2 1/2 years of nasty Jersey weather mine look like sh!t too, but thus far they still work fine.
