Seatbelt Question

There is a little plastic button on the seatbelt that holds the tang in a convenient position to grab when you sit down.  Today I found my tang at the bottom of the belt, laying on the seat.  I remember the belt getting slammed in the door yesterday and sure enough, half of the little plastic button that normally holds the tang was on the door sill.  Can a dealer replace the button without replacing the whole seatbelt assembly or can someone think of an easy improvised solution?

You can buy those little buttons at an auto parts store and they are very cheap. They are 2 piece and simply snap together. I had to replace them on wifes Taurus and cost is under $5.00 for a pair. Ask about the color as there are several.

No I didn't look at the post date. I came to the site and clicked on new posts and it came up. Whats more interesting is that if this sight is here to help each other enjoy their trucks, you would have thought someone would have answered him in less than 6.5 years.
