Chance to buy another truck

My brother told me he has a 95 Chevy at his shop that a customer did not pay the bill on. I can get it for 1700.00

Being out of a job I don't know if I will do it or not. The interier is shot he said. I have been looking for another vehicle so I can park my truck and not drive it so much. Or should I get it and resell it? Decisions Decisions........

I don't know about this, the thing must be shot. $1700 bucks for a 95 Chevy pickup? Sounds way underpriced to me. Also, did your brother take possesion of this truck? If he hasn't, steer clear of it as you could get yourself into some legal problems over this matter.

The guy didn't pay the bill. It's some kind of lean thing. But from what he said it's full and clear and ready to be bought. It's only 1700 because that is what the bill was. And I don't think that my brother would get me involved in something that would cause me nothing but trouble. Like I said, who knows wich way I will go when I see it. It might be nice enough to even keep. Put my seat in it and 100 bucks for carpet.

I'd say give it a looksee and if it's mechanically fine and the body is in good shape go for it. You can find a junkyard truck and spruce up the interior pretty easily. Heck, just do that and re-sell it for some $$$, I'm sure you could make a few grand off the deal. One of the guys at works buys all of the old work vans and trucks, cleans them up and re-sells them. He makes a lot off of all of them.

Well do you want the good news or bad news. Well I only have bad news. The truck was stolen sunday night. Talk about a pisser. They are sure it is the owner, just have to catch him. The shop filed for a title and the cops have been called. Hopefully it will turn out ok.
