So I paid ?.24 in labor for the brakes yesterday.  Took about an hour and a half.  That's roughly ? an hour in labor.  Do you know what you're paying in labor, locally? The guy I do sled tours for charges about ? per to work on cars, (would never let him work on my truck-long boring story).  Just curious how diverse the rates are around the country, and Canada too, aye...

In the San Francisco, Bay Area. Rates at the dealerships run from ?.00 to about ?.00 this is for American cars. Top of the line Rice Burners can run up to ?.00 an hour. and German cars, well, let your imagination run wild.

Most dealers around here are ? - ? per hour....  That's outragious in my opinion because alot of the mechanics aren't much better than me...  the big difference is they have all the right tools and a lift!!!

70-80 in my area.  dealerships run on the higher end.  And foriegn cars aren't sold or bought here heh heh heh.  Oh Beloved MI.
