Mabye it isn't clean for you, but it's spotless compared to mine :uhoh: ...At least the '02. The '92 stays pretty dang clean. I don't beat on it like I do the '02.

The other switch for the hyperdrive? Seriously though what auxillary audio? The other one's for...

Sorry...I should have explained that one. The switch below that is for my Hella fog lights (square one). The auxillary audio switch allows me to switch between up to 3 auxillary audio inputs (my XM radio and I-Pod) to the factory head unit. It separates the signals, so there is no interference...which was the problem I was having. The constant XM radio signal was interfering with the I-Pod, when I had it on. Now the I-Pod signal is crisp. :uhoh:

First, great truck! I like it.

Second, I am about to start a similar mod to add an Ipod to my 04 2500HD. I have the Bose radio with Xm and on star. My local sound shop is very worried about touching this system. I am not aware of Chevy offering a line in on the front or back of my stereo (that would be too smart and simple). So I know there is a wireless FM transmitter version but I've been told that sounds like crap. I have also been told that there is an FM modulated version that plugs in between my antenna and the head unit that will give me a clear I Pod line in. It still plays through the FM receiver but the signal is clear.

What exactly did you do to your unit. I would appreciate as much detail as your willing to give. How did you get three aux audio lines in? How clear is it? Do you have the Bose system? On star? Any suggestions you have for me? Did you try the direct wired FM modulated thing and it didn't work?

Thanks,

Tom
